    MBA students are the future leaders in the corporate industry. Every single individual is expected to posses strong leadership abilities which will have a positive impact on the team members. Leading by example will help you to get the best of results from your team. Planning, taking action and constant follow through are the important aspects in leading by example. If there are certain rules to be followed, it is you who should set an example for your team. It is basically inculcating discipline in work life.

    Defining Rules:

    It is not required to set up large number of rigid rules. The fewer you have, the better they are and effective. You employees might follow them promptly and remember that the rules framed by you will demonstrate your capability to the team. You need to be at your best or else the employees might start seeking guidance from other resources. The present generation of workforce is entirely different from the traditional ones.

    Take your time to listen to the colleagues. Extend your courtesies to employees and they will develop trust on you. The low level employees have the basic pulse of the company and form the backbone of the company. The staff might include wide range of talents. Management and this talent can create a wave pool in the success of organization. Do not bend your rules to meet the requirements and deadlines. This will create a loop hole to escape the work load and you might earn less amount of respect from fellow staff. This might even lead a company wide division.

    Lead With Attitude:

    Leading with attitude will project you to be the best leader in action. You can foster a culture that gels with organization goals and easily attain the results. Develop a fantastic mission statement and take fabulous action plans to achieve the task. Do proper follow-ups and keep a good track of your proceedings. Action speaks louder than words. Believe in this and be a role model to your employees.
    A right kind of leader can tackle any kind of problem and will ease out all problems with the team members help. However, he should be an effective leader to have his team mates by his side to solve the difficult problems. You are expected to develop such an attitude and promote harmony in the organizational culture. These rules will enhance your capability as a leader.

    You must know how to choose the best of best for your team. This skill cannot be obtained overnight. One has to work constantly over a period of time. Delegating effectively and approaching leadership with common sense is very important. If the staff has got enough respect for you, they work well having good numbers of reasons to celebrate. Leading by example is an important quality and you can become a great asset to the company. Learn these skills right from your MBA days to climb the organizational ladder of success.
