Skill set, Training Need assesment
A questionnaire on Skill Set & Behavior Assessment to identify training needs.Each of the following questions could be rated only by self, or by self and a colleague/head.
Skills
- Knowledge (Technical,Product,systems,etc) within my personal responsibility area
- Collecting Informations ( Organisations, Suppliers, Processes, Regulations,e tc)
- Communication In writing ( Letters, quotations, proposals, confirmations, contracts,etc)
- Making appointment with senior people
- Questioning and listening skills
- Developing solutions with customers,suppliers,partners and staff
- Creating and giving senior-level presentations to groups.
- Negotiating strategy, techniques and skills
- Financial understanding(P&l,cashflow,variable/fixed costs,capital/revenue,depri,etc).
- Managing relationships with customers and collegues, internal selling.
- Closing and completing deals and agreements with individuals and groups
- Business/Market awareness
- Project management and running meetings
- Administartion, planning, reporting and monitoring
- Time management-for my work responsibilities only.
Behaviour- Striving for new skills, knowledge,experience and personal development
- Taking personal responsibility to resolve problems,even those not of my own making
- Understanding the way people really feel, beyond what they seem to be saying
- Developing positive relationships, co-operation with and supporting my collegues.
- Being a self starter, self-motivated, keeping focused and productive
- Planning how to achieve my business and personal goals
- Handling stress,conflict and pressure in a positive way
- Managing upwards and sideways(my managerial superiors and my peers)
- Contributing positively to team/company morale and spirit.
- Seeking and picking up responsibility that I see waiting to be filled.
- Coming up with recommendations and suggestions,more than asking for answers.
- Prioritising, planning and organising the balance between work and home life.
