Many or infact all people try to get higher education for employment but what about if its not a hobby at all?

You mean hobby as in pursuing out of interest? If so, that Should be the reason for higher education. But unfortunately, Now most do for bread and butter (or rather, to include a delicious double-layered chocolate cake in their meal ..lol)

Re: Should you learn for employment?

Education has become the bread and butter now-a-days.

Companies look for educational qualifications, communication skills and business skills.

But, it's not the end of the world. There are people who are not even graduates, but have change our world. (Example: Bill Gates and Albert Einstein).

One only needs to be lucky enough, be smart and put your foot in the right path.

Re: Should you learn for employment?

we should learn for knowledge & if we have the right knowledge, we'll get the right value of it
employment requires skills along with knowledge & skills can't b developed with higher studies; its developed with the application (of the knowledge)
but the problem of unemployment & industrially structured n designed courses have changed the situation forcefully
