Ques ::-> how would anyone handle a situation , if u dont know an answer to any ques , 1) should 1 tell staraight forward that i dont know or 2) try and answerin anyway.
i mean what you think the interviewers would like?

I would do the following.

I don't know the answer but this could be one of them ...........

A good way is to tell that you are not sure of the answer, but want to attempt it and do so.

(if you dont know the answer & answer somthn else, they ll see right thru you...)

if you know that you can give answer i mean if you pick up proper key you should give other wise with very politeness say sorry sir i dont know

Always it is good to be honest in the interview.

You can tell that you are not sure about the answer.

Hi,
During interview there are two situations: -
1) When you had read the answer and do not remember it, well in this case try for a while and see if it comes.
2) You had told yourself that the question would be asked and now you are planning to curse yourself for not having read it.

In either case honesty is the best policy, make your decision in a flip second and then tell the panel that you do not know the answer. Look them straight in their eyes and say it very politely.

You should not say straight NO rather you can mention the approach in steps like :

first you would analyse the problem
second you would think about a solution
third, you would look if it is under your responsibility area and handled by you or you should involve seniors as well
fourth you would analyse the impacts of your decision
fifth ....and so on ..
