MBA should be done only if you have the correct idea on why it should be done. If you really think that is a mere medium that is going to fetch you good money, it is advisable not to do it.

What actually makes you think that companies would require MBAs? They expect that you have your ability to perceive the wider picture in aspects that would lead to the betterment of the company and be able to figure out the factors that may not be profitable for it.. They expect you to scrutinize where they are really stranded, what is the true potential of the company and their capabilities, where they can actually reach from their present situation, how much time would it take to meet their set goals, the reason why certain things fail to happen the way they actually should have, and what are the required measures taken to make things actually happen the way that would benefit the particular organization. Thus what can be concluded from this is that a particular company would prefer a person who would be able to make decisions for the benefit of an organization.

Now it might come across to you that in the real world situation all jobs don't offer this sort of experience.
