No matter how much a particular business organization puts its efforts and emphasis on the marketing and promotion of its product ,its ultimate goal is always to earn a healthy revenue leading to the desired profit and all that is possible only when the intended sales is met properly. Sales is thus the most important aspect of a business and must be a responsibility on very able shoulders. If you thus intend to launch for yourself a career in sales and want to flourish then you would be greatly benefited if you follow a set of dos and don's.
You must always close the sales both in your cover letter and your interview for the position of a sales representative ,companies hiring sales representatives usually look for people who are aware of how to closing there sales. Thus make sure you close your sale on your cover letter by asking for the job and telling your recruiters that you would call and settle your appointment.
You should not forget your transferable skills even if you do not possess direct experience in sales. You must mention anything and everything that might have an aspect of sales to it.
